The Student Activity Center is located on the third and fourth floors of the University Square building (333 East Campus Mall). The building resides between University Avenue and Johnson Street, bordered by Lake Street on the east side.
The SAC is is the only student-run space on campus. The SAC is home to Registered Student Organization (RSO) offices ranging from 50 to 750 square feet, conference rooms, a rooftop deck, study areas, and a multipurpose room. ASM funds and allocates the office space in the SAC, while the Office for Student Organizations, Leadership & Involvement manages and provides RSO support and advising services in the space.

SAC Additional Information
The SAC is a student run building. All policy, space allocation, and operating hours is decided by an Elected President, Vice Chair, and board representatives for the tenants housed in the SAC. Policies for the reservation and use of the Student Activity Center can be found in the UW-Madison Policy Library (UW-2021).
Reservations for the SAC can be made through the Campus Event Services (CESO) Event Management System (EMS) Meeting Room Request Form (netID and Password needed to login to the form). The CESO Meeting Room Request form should be used for all recurring reservations and any requests that are at least 7 business days (Monday – Friday) in the future.
For requests for space less than 7 days in advance, please contact the SAC desk directly for any potential availability.

GUTS offers free tutoring and mentoring to hundreds of students and university affiliates each semester.
