Who We Are
The Office for Student Organizations, Leadership & Involvement assists students in intentionally connecting with the far-ranging opportunities that exist throughout campus, including student organizations. As an Office we offer leadership programming that supports students in making meaning of these experiences and in developing leadership capacity – the ability to affect positive change.
Mission:
To cultivate and engage students through practical leadership skill development and involvement experiences.

Aspiring to be the premier center for integrated leadership development and involvement resources for all students.

- Takes place in early to mid September
- Held at the Kohl Center
- Features 400+ student organizations
RSO Resource Open House
- Takes place in mid to late September
- Held at the WI Union
- Features benefit providers from across campus and the community that can support RSOs
Leadership Certificate Orientations
- Held in September or early October
- Explains the requirements of the Leadership Certificate Program
Leadership Certificate Reception
- Held in December
- Honors the Fall Leadership Certificate Recipients
Spring Semester Events
Spring Student Organization Fair
- Takes place in late January or early February
- Held at the Kohl Center
- Features 300+ student organizations
Leadership Certificate Orientations
- Held in February or March
- Explains the requirements of the Leadership Certificate
All Campus Leadership Conference
- Hosted by the Student Leadership Program (SLP)
- Held in February
- Features a keynote speaker and multiple sessions focusing on leadership development topics
The Buckys

- Recognizes contributions of registered student organizations and individual students
